The actor Ned Beatty, known for his roles in "Network," "Superman," and "Toy Story 3," has died aged 83.

Beatty, who was nominated for an Oscar for his role as Arthur Jensen in "Network," died on Sunday of natural causes, the Associated Press reported.

He died in his Los Angeles home with family and others close to him, the AP reported.

He has credits in more than 150 movies and TV shows, according to the AP.

He voiced Lotso the bear in "Toy Story 3," and played Otis, the henchman of villain Lex Luther, in the 1970s "Superman" movies.
